I ended my 2016 season in the nicest way possible, with a laid-back, sweet, kind and easy going day. It was my first time at the new Beauport Hotel in Gloucester and I was stunned by how beautiful the space was. They did a fantastic job designing the wedding venue. It was a late afternoon, late fall wedding, on the water and the sun set in gorgeous hues of blue and pink.

These two right here are what wedding photographer's dreams are made of! Both actors, Gil and Ariel are totally comfortable in front of the camera, openly fun and funny and completely in love with each other, I had the BEST time photographing them at a place that meant so much to them. They met each other one summer performing theater at this very location. It only seemed natural to go back, hang out and create beautiful portraits. I could not stop smiling, I had such an incredibly time with these two that just thinking about their wedding next year makes me excited.

It was late fall and I was worried that Larissa dreams of the perfect fall day would be washed away by the rain, or that the colors wouldn't be vibrant any more in Vermont. Boy was I wrong! Despite the chill and the drizzle, Woodstock shined bright. I love the old covered bridges of Vermont and the fall colors that it is so well known for. I could not have imagined a more perfect setting for two native Vermonters and will be excited to make the journey back to the great state for their wedding next year!

I love that I get to see different parts of the city during all four New England seasons. This time around I got to explore the waterfront in fall with Jess & Tim. It was a windy day, but a sunny day. We walked the waterfront and into the historic North End all the while capturing the joy these two have just spending time together. It's gonna be a whole lot of fun to see their friends and family gather for their summer wedding next year.

They are fun and laugh together and bring that same joy to everyone around them.

For a fun fall afternoon I suggested these two meet me at Larz Anderson Park. They wanted a backdrop that was both rustic and outdoorsy. I often offer up Larz Anderson because it is versatile and looks amazing any time of year. I had so much fun shooting these two all over the park! Their laid-back, country, happy to be outside personalities fit with my style so perfectly and I can't wait to see them again next summer for their outdoor wedding.

I love me a good barn! It was another wet fall day for Sabrina's and Patrick wedding at Brooksby's farm. The first look in the apple orchard was my favorite part of the day, especially because Sabrina did a first look with her dad and then Patrick, so sweet. After a misty ceremony it was nice to get cozy in the barn. Sabrina and Patrick put so much love and effort into their wedding day and it showed.
