You would never know it, but this wedding day started off with lots and lots of rain. When I arrived to the hotel to meet up with Kara for getting ready photos, it was pouring. I knew we had time with the indoor church ceremony for things to turn around and they did!! It ended up being a gorgeous summer evening when we arrived at The River Club for photos and the reception.

With rain threatening for the day, it was a wonderful that it was dry when I arrived and for Niall and James's first look and portraits. As we gathered and prepared to start the ceremony, the skies looked more and more ominous...then they let loose and the rain came down hard. Guests rushed inside to switch locations quickly. No sadness here though, this was exactly what Niall and James wanted; to be intimated surrounded by their friends and family. They made the best of it and enjoyed the coziness under the tent.

It was the perfect June day for Leigh and Jason's wedding at one of my all time favorite wedding venues, Willowdale Estate. Beauty carried through out the day. From first seeing Leigh in her dress and how it brought tears to her eyes knowing in that moment this day was finally here, to the quiet moment at the end of the night when we pulled Leigh and Jason aside for a string lit night shot. Every little detail of the day was gorgeous and personal.

On a busy April Saturday, I met Risa and Jason for their Boston wedding. This sweet couple got engaged right at Faneuil Hall making this a very special location for them. Risa & Jason were married right downtown at the historic Old South Meeting House, with a fun confetti exit right onto the bustling street. They chose to have portraits taken in the popular Christopher Columbus park, along the water and in Faneuil Hall.

On a bitterly cold New Year's Eve, I met up with Sam & Andrew as they were getting ready to not only tie-the-knot, but party into the new year. I could not think of a more perfect setting for a New Year's wedding than the Providence Biltmore with it's old world glamour. With lots of beautiful spaces for photos and the epic staircase as you enter, I had so much fun playing up the hotels decor. We also ventured to the RI state house for another indoor session, it was a wonderful respite from the winter chill.

I cannot imagine two people more happy to get married to one another than Courtney and Rob. These two were smiling ear to ear all day long! I truly get to work with the most amazing people.
Despite some chilly November temps, Courtney and Rob embraced the sunshine in a place that is so special to them, Harvard Square. Having met at university it was very fitting to get married right where it all started & I was just lucky enough to be a part of such a beautiful day.

It was a blustery and bitter cold November day for Laura and Brett, but these two trusted me and were troopers facing the elements! It was a chilly overcast October day; just about the perfect kind of day to be shooting a wedding. Not only was the weather ideal, but Amelia and Mike are just about the kindest people ever, a wedding photographers ideal couple. I love when my couples relax and just let the day take them away. From start to finish Amelia and Mike were so pleasant and really trusted me to capture the day with great ease. I loved all the special touches that these two thought of and their colors were the perfect fall palette. Not to mention, The Hellenic Center has beautiful grounds and a simple interior making for endless options for timeless backdrops. I had such a wonderful day and we were even able to end with some fun night shots. T

The forecast for this whole day was for torrential downpours. Even as we drove to meet Erin & Scott, the skies were foreboding and we passed thru several downpours. Things were not looking in our favor. As soon as we met up with Erin & Scott at Camp Bournedale and their bridal party, immediately the worry went away with their laughter and good nature everyone was ready to have a great wedding, rain or no rain. We went as planned for the first look down on the beach and continued with photos outside. The rest of the day went off without a hitch, the rain stayed away and the sun even shone down brightly on these two as they said their "I dos". I adore Erin & Scott for their humor, laid-back, honest, and warm personalities. T
