It's really fun to shoot a wedding that your friends are part of. My friend Chandra asked me to shoot her sister Janelle's wedding and I was so excited, not only to be around such an upbeat and laid-back crowd, but to once again pinch myself at the end of day that this is my job! I had such a blast with Janelle and Rick and all their friends and family and even got to dance on the dance floor at the end of the night!
I love couples who are completely themselves on their wedding day. Janelle looked amazing in her beaded dress and Rick dapper in his bowtie. Their fun, silly, friendly personalities shined along with all their closest friends and family. The day was beautiful and so relaxed, it was a dream shooting day. It was an honor to shoot a wedding for a friend and I am so grateful for referrals and get to meet the most wonderful people.
