Late September I was back at one of my favorite venues, Mountain Meadows Lodge! This time for Katy and Matty to get married. I was so excited to get back to the lodge and all the great folks who work there. It was a spectacular sunny day. Katy was gorgeous in her lace gown and Matty as smiley and friendly as always. These two were ready to kick off the festivities and have fun with all their friends and family. After a first look on the docks, we took some amazing bride and groom portraits, got the bridal party involved and then hit the overlook for the ceremony.
Shooting a location I am so familiar with really challenges me to try new spots and I took Katy and Matty to the dirt road after their ceremony for just a few photos and it was glowing. I am so happy we took an extra few minutes there. But then it was off to the party! Ending the night with wish lanterns, I wish these two a lifetime of love, adventure and happiness.
